OVERVIEW

        A vulnerability has been reported in Novell eDirectory 8.8 which
        allows a remote attacker to cause a Denial of Service condition.


IMPACT

        The vendor has provided the following details: [1]

        - Security Vulnerability: embox SOAP request causes eDirectory 
          to core


MITIGATION

        The vendor recommends updating to eDirectory 8.8 SP5 Patch3 
        which is available from their website. [2]
