OVERVIEW

        Multiple cross-site scripting vulnerabilities have been identified 
        in OSSIM (Open Source Security Information Management) version 2.2.1.


IMPACT

        - A user can be redirected to a malicious website if presented with 
          a malicious URL via a social engineering or phishing attempt.
        
        - A cross-site scripting attack can exploit any page containing the  
          $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'] variable.


MITIGATION

        There is currently no confirmed patch or fix for this vulnerability.
        Note that we will update this advisory once a mitigation path is 
        identified.
