OVERVIEW

        OpenSSL versions 0.9.8o and 1.0.0a have been released, correcting
        two security vulnerabilities.


IMPACT

        (CVE-2010-0742)
        
        A vulnerability has been identified in the ASN1 module definition 
        for CMS that can lead to mishandling of CMS structures. [1] 
        
        (CVE-2010-1633)
        
        A vulnerability was identified in the way RSA key verification is
        handled. [1]


MITIGATION

        It is recommended to update to OpenSSL version 0.9.8o or 1.0.0a, 
        which are available from the vendor's website. [2]
