OVERVIEW

        Mozilla has released version 3.6.6 of the Firefox web browser,
        improving a security feature.


IMPACT

        The vendor has supplied the following information regarding this
        update:
        
        "Firefox 3.6.6 modifies the crash protection feature to increase 
        the amount of time that plugins are allowed to be non-responsive 
        before being terminated." [1] 


MITIGATION

        It is recommended that users of Firefox upgrade to version 3.6.6,
        either by downloading it from the vendor's website [2] or by
        selecting "Check for updates" from the Help menu.
