OVERVIEW

        A vulnerability has been identified in WordPress prior to version
        3.1.4.


IMPACT

        The vendor has provided the following details regarding this issue:
        
        "This release fixes an issue that could allow a malicious Editor-level 
        user to gain further access to the site. Thanks K. Gudinavicius of 
        SEC Consult for bringing this to our attention." [1]


MITIGATION

        The vendor recommends upgrading to the latest version of WordPress
        to correct this issue. [1]
