OVERVIEW

        A number of vulnerabilities have been identified in Moodle prior to 
        2.5.1, 2.4.5, 2.3.8 and 2.2.11. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]


IMPACT

        The vendor has provided the following details regarding these 
        vulnerabilities:
        
        CVE-2013-2242: "Users were able to access a daemon-mode Chat activity 
        without the required capability." [1]
        
        CVE-2013-2243: "It was possible to determine answers from ID values in 
        Lesson activity matching questions." [2]
        
        CVE-2013-2244: "Conditional access rule values for user fields were able 
        to contain unescaped HTML/JS that would be output to users." [3]
        
        CVE-2013-2245: "When impersonating another user using RSS tokens, an 
        error was displayed, but block information relevant to the person being 
        impersonated was shown." [4]
        
        CVE-2013-2246: "The Feedback module was showing personal information to 
        users without the needed capability" [5]


MITIGATION

        The vendor has stated that these issues have been corrected in versions
        2.5.1, 2.4.5, 2.3.8 and 2.2.11. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
