OVERVIEW

        A vulnerability has been identified in Parallels Plesk Panel 
        versions prior to 11.5.30 MU#31. [1]


IMPACT

        The vendor has provided the following information concerning the 
        vulnerability:
        
        "The 11.5.30 MU#31 update is recommended for all PP users and 
        includes general functionality fixes that improve the stability, 
        compatibility, and security of your PP server.
        
        To ensure optimal server reliability and security, Parallels 
        strongly recommends keeping your operating system and PP software 
        up-to-date.
        
        (Linux) To avoid heap-based buffer overflow in the mod_fcgid 
        module (CVE-2013-4365), the mod_fcgid module shipped with Panel was
        updated to version 2.3.9. (PPPM-1314)" [1]


MITIGATION

        Users should update to the latest MU# of their version of 
        Plesk Panel.
