Microsoft Corporation has released the following security bulletin
concerning a vulnerability in Internet Explorer 4.01 and 5.  A
webpage may be crafted which bypasses cross-domain data access
restrictions via a redirect to a Javascript applet.  This vulnerability
may allow a malicious web site operator to read files on the visiting
browser's computer.  A workaround has been provided by Microsoft
to eliminate this vulnerability and a patch is under development:
