   Date of Resolved Release: 10-Feb-2009

   SA Document Body
Sun Virtual Desktop Connector 1.0 patch 127559-03 for Solaris 10 may
cause SunRay or Sun Secure Global Desktop sessions fail to connect to
   virtual desktops

   1. Impact
Installing patch 127559-03 onto Solaris 10 SPARC Systems running
Sun Virtual Desktop Connector 1.0 may cause SunRay or Sun Secure
Global desktop sessions to fail to access the assigned virtual

   2. Contributing Factors
This issue can occur in the following release:
   SPARC Platform

       127559-03 and without patch 127559-04

Note: Sun Virtual Desktop Connector 1.0 for Windows, Linux, and
Solaris 10 on the x86 platform are not impacted by this issue.

   3. Symptoms
If the described issue occurs, Sun Virtual Desktop Connector will not
be able to perform a connection to a virtual desktop from SunRay or
from Sun Secure Global Desktop sessions.
If a session is started with Sun Secure Global Desktop, an error
message similar to the following will be seen:
    Unknown Error (255)
Script 3990 exited with code 255 and signal 0
    Standard error of script process:

127559-03 is installed, remove it using patchrm(1M).

   5. Resolution
This issue is addressed in the following release:

     * Sun Virtual Desktop Connector 1.0 (for Solaris 10) with patch
       127559-04 or later
