Abstract

Download the IBM WebSphere DataPower XC10 Appliance Version 1.0.0.5 firmware 
upgrade, available on IBM Fix Central.

Download Description

Firmware upgrade Version 1.0.0.5 includes critical fixes for the security and 
reliability of WebSphere DataPower XC10 Appliance Version 1.0.

The upgrade includes fixes that enhance disaster recovery and failover
enablement for the data grid in all caching scenarios.

The following functional improvements are included in this firmware upgrade:

    * Improved performance and reliability of appliance collectives that are 
      under load in the following failover scenarios:
          o Appliance shutdown or restart
          o Appliance power failure
          o Appliance network failure
          o Firmware update
    * Improved reliability of the Transport Level Security task
    * Improved functionality of the clear-logs command in the command line 
      interface
    * More accurate status reporting from the start-progress command in the 
      command line interface
    * Upgraded the Java Runtime Environment to address security vulnerability

How critical is this firmware upgrade?

Required. You must install this refresh on top of your Version 1.0.0.x 
WebSphere DataPower XC10 Appliance firmware.
