the IBM InfoSphere Discovery Information Center (CVE-2012-2159, CVE-2012-2161)

SUMMARY:
The InfoSphere Discovery Information Center package gives you local access to
all of the information you need to take full advantage of the Discovery
product. Some scripts in the help system used by InfoSphere Discovery
Information Center are vulnerable to open redirect or cross-site scripting
attacks.

DESCRIPTION: Some scripts used by the help system are vulnerable to redirects
from trusted to untrusted web sites when users click a malicious link. Related

IBM InfoSphere Discovery Version 4.5.1 for Information Integration Workgroup

REMEDIATION: The recommended solution is to apply the fix for each named
edition of the product. Please see below for information on the fixes
available.

Fix:
Download the patch. (see below for download link)
Stop the InfoSphere Discovery Server.
Extract the folder titled IEHS342.war to 
<Installdirectory>\Discovery\DiscoveryServer\repository\IBM-Infosphere\Discovery\4.5.1\Discovery-4.5.1.ear
Restart the InfoSphere Discovery Server.

Additional instructions:

You must stop InfoSphere Discovery Server before extracting the patch, then
manually re-start the InfoSphere Discovery Server after copying the
IEHS342.war folder to the correct location.

Workarounds: None known; apply fix.
