Abstract

Vulnerabilities have been identified in IBM Analytical Decision Management
which make the product vulnerable to attacks using script injection and remote
code execution.

Content

VULNERABILITY DETAILS:

CVE ID: CVE-2013-4047

DESCRIPTION: If an attacker was able to trick a user into clicking on a link
they may be able to execute a script of their choosing. This might be used to
allow the attacker to steal or manipulate customer session and cookies, which
might be used to impersonate a legitimate user, allowing the hacker to view or
alter user records, and to perform transactions as that user.

CVSS Base Score: 4.3

CVSS Temporal Score: See http://xforce.iss.net/xforce/xfdb/86440 for the
current score

CVSS Environmental Score*: Undefined

CVSS Vector: (AV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N)

CVE ID: CVE-2013-4048

DESCRIPTION: If an attacker was able to inject a script of their choosing into
a legitimate page, this might be used to allow the malicious user to steal or
manipulate customer session and cookies, which might be used to impersonate
another user, allowing the hacker to view or alter user records, and to
perform transactions as that user.

CVSS Base Score: 3.5

CVSS Temporal Score: See http://xforce.iss.net/xforce/xfdb/86441 for the
current score

CVSS Environmental Score*: Undefined

CVSS Vector: (AV:N/AC:M/Au:S/C:N/I:P/A:N)

CVE ID: CVE-2013-4049

DESCRIPTION: A malicious user can upload a file of his choosing anywhere on
the server. This can be used to create a JSP file containing malicious code.
The malicious user can then point his browser to the JSP to have the code
executed.

CVSS Base Score: 9.0

CVSS Temporal Score: See http://xforce.iss.net/xforce/xfdb/86442 for the
current score

CVSS Environmental Score*: Undefined

CVSS Vector: (AV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:C/I:C/A:C)

CVE ID: CVE-2013-5369

DESCRIPTION: If an attacker was able to deploy a new service into the
application, then this new service could potentially be accessible by remote
attackers.

CVSS Base Score: 9.3

CVSS Temporal Score: See http://xforce.iss.net/xforce/xfdb/86657 for the
current score

CVSS Environmental Score*: Undefined
