Abstract

Vulnerabilities in IBM Global Security Kit (GSKit), shipped as part of IBM
Tivoli Composite Application Manager for Transactions (ITCAM for Transactions).

Content

VULNERABILITY DETAILS:

Security vulnerabilities have been discovered in the GSKit libraries. ITCAM for
Transactions uses the GSKit libraries directly as well as via its supporting
framework, ITM.

All ITCAM for Transactions agents uses the GSKit indirectly via ITM Framework.
Additionally, the Web Response Time (T5) agent uses the GSKit directly.

CVEID: CVE-2012-2190
DESCRIPTION:
IBM Global Security Kit (aka GSKit), allows remote attackers to cause a denial
of service (daemon crash) via a crafted ClientHello message in the TLS
Handshake Protocol.
CVSS Base Score: 5
CVSS Temporal Score: See http://xforce.iss.net/xforce/xfdb/75994 for the
current score
CVSS Environmental Score*: Undefined

CVEID: CVE-2012-2191
DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability which does not properly validate data during execution of a
protection mechanism against the Vaudenay SSL CBC timing attack.

CVEID: CVE-2012-2203
DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability regarding the use of PKCS #12 file format for certificate
objects without enforcing file integrity.
CVSS Base Score: 5.8
CVSS Temporal Score: See http://xforce.iss.net/xforce/xfdb/77280 for the
