Abstract

The Enterprise Single Sign On (ESSO) application is vulnerable to forceful 
browsing attacks. These attacks permit users of the system to access features 
to which they are not authorized by simply browsing directly to the URL of 
those features.

Helpdesk users are able to view logs for the application, despite not having 
access to the links. While helpdesk users are able to retrieve information, 
they are unable to make changes. The attack requires network access, 
authentication and some degree of specialized knowledge and techniques. An 
attack can compromise the confidentiality of information but not the integrity 
of data or availability of the system.
