Workarounds/Mitigations

Disabling the SSLv3 Session cache will circumvent this issue, but may lead to
higher CPU usage. To use the circumvention:

For Windows platforms, do one of the following:

    Any Release:

Set the system wide environment variable 'GSK_V3_SIDCACHE_SIZE=0"

    Restart the system

For Linux platforms, do one of the following:

    Release: CSDCD V7.0, or later

            CS Linux V.6.4.0.3 or later

CS Linux on System z V6.4.0.3 or later

Export the native environment variable 'GSK_V3_SIDCACHE_SIZE=0' in
'/etc/opt/ibm/sna/environments'

Perform a full stop and start of the server.

For AIX platforms, do one of the following:

    Release:

            CSDCD V7.0, or later

            CS/AIX V.6.4.0.3 or later

Export the native environment variable 'GSK_V3_SIDCACHE_SIZE=0' in
'/etc/sna/environments'

Perform a full stop and start of the server.

Important note:

IBM strongly suggests that all System z customers be subscribed to the System
z Security Portal to receive the latest critical System z security and
integrity service. If you are not subscribed, see the instructions on the
System z Security web site. Security and integrity APARs and associated fixes
will be posted to this portal. IBM suggests reviewing the CVSS scores and
applying all security or integrity fixes as soon as possible to minimize any
potential risk.
