If you have enabled automatic updates your system will install the fix automatically. For manual installation go to Updates - Updates & Licensing - System Packages and start the update. To check if the fix has been installed on your system follow the below steps: 1. SSH to the appliance (login as 'root') 2. rpm -qa | grep isslmi 3. Check that the revision number (isslmi-2.8.1-XXXXX) is equal or higher than 22905. Workarounds and Mitigations The attack requires access to the management interface which is separated from the public-facing interfaces for end users and mail exchange. An attacker would need to gain access to a network or an individual that has access to the management interface prior to these attacks. All attacks require prior admin authentication. An attacker must therefore either obtain these credentials or use social engineering to trick a user with admin privileges to click on a crafted link.
