Executive Summary

This security update resolves a privately reported vulnerability in Microsoft
Windows. The vulnerability could allow denial of service if an attacker sends
a sequence of specially crafted packets to the target system.

This security update is rated Important for all supported editions of Windows
Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows 8, 
Windows Server 2012, Windows RT, Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2012 R2, and 
Windows RT 8.1.

TCP Denial of Service Vulnerability - CVE-2014-1811

A denial of service vulnerability exists in the Windows TCP/IP networking 
protocol. An attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability could 
cause the affected system to stop responding.
