RESOLUTION

HP has released the following software updates to resolve the vulnerabilities
in HP NonStop SSL.

Notes:

HP NonStop SSL is potentially affected by CVE-2014-0224 when running in
client mode and communicating with a vulnerable server. It is not vulnerable
in server mode.

HP NonStop SSL may be at risk if running in client mode and communicating
with a vulnerable server

CVE-2014-3470 is a vulnerability that exists only if Elliptic curve based
anonymous ciphers are used. Since these ciphers are inherently insecure, HP
recommends avoiding the use of these ciphers.

RVUs containing final fix:

J06.18
 H06.29

Workaround:

Replace vulnerable servers with patched versions.

Solution:
