Vulnerability Details CVEID: CVE-2014-8917 Description: IBM Dojo Toolkit is vulnerable to cross-site scripting, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability using a specially-crafted URL to execute script in a victim's Web browser within the security context of the hosting Web site, once the URL is clicked. Remediation/Fixes None Workarounds and Mitigations Option 1: Do not use the affected files. The affected files (fileuploader.swf, uploader.swf, audio.swf, and video.swf) are shipped with RBD v8.0.x, but they are not used by RBD. If EGL developers do not use them in EGL application, then the application will not be affected.
