Remediation/Fixes

Workarounds and Mitigations

For SiteProtector 3.0, 3.1.0 and 3.1.1:

The SiteProtector product has the capability to use client authentication
(account name / password) for communication between the managed agents and the
Agent Manager component. However, this is not the default mode and must be
configured by the customer. For those customers who have done this, their
SiteProtector installations are not vulnerable to this issue.

Customers should follow the instructions on Enabling Agent Manager client
authentication in IBM technote Enabling Agent Manager Client Authentication in
SiteProtector. Enabling client authentication may impact communications
between SiteProtector and the agent.
