Server that is used by IBM WebSphere Sensor Events and IBM Real-Time
Asset Locator.

Vulnerability Details

CVEID: CVE-2015-2808
DESCRIPTION: The RC4 algorithm, as used in the TLS protocol and SSL protocol,
could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information. An attacker
could exploit this vulnerability to remotely expose account credentials

Affected Products and Versions

Affected Product and Version(s) Product and Version shipped as
					a component

WebSphere Sensor Events version 7.0	IBM WebSphere Application Server
					version 7.0

IBM Real-Time Asset Locator version 7.1	IBM WebSphere Application
					Server version 7.0

Remediation/Fixes

On the IBM HTTP server, edit the following file:

/opt/IBM/HTTPServer/conf/httpd.conf

In the httpd.conf file, locate the following two lines:

SSLCipherSpec ALL SSL_RSA_WITH_RC4_128_MD5
SSLCipherSpec ALL SSL_RSA_WITH_RC4_128_SHA

Modify the two lines to match the following two lines:

##SSLCipherSpec ALL SSL_RSA_WITH_RC4_128_MD5
##SSLCipherSpec ALL SSL_RSA_WITH_RC4_128_SHA

After you modify the two lines, restart the IBM HTTP server.
