Remediation/Fixes

The recommended solution is to download and install the appropriate version of
IBM Java SDK as soon as practicable.

For further information on where to download the IBM Java SDK, please see
Security Bulletin: Multiple vulnerabilities in current releases of the IBM
SDK, Java Technology Edition

Before installing a newer version of IBM Java SDK, please ensure that you:

		Close any open programs that you have running;

Rename the initial directory of the IBM Java SDK (for example: with a .old at
		the end),

Download and install IBM JRE Version 6 Service Refresh 16 Fix Pack 4 and
	subsequent releases.

For v3.4 through v3.7.0.2:

	AIX
	   SDK6sr16fp4-WS-ODME-aix-ppc-x64 (64-bit)

	Linux
	   SDK6sr16fp4-WS-ODME-linux-x64 (64-bit)

	Windows
	   SDK6sr16fp4-WS-ODME-windows-x86_32 (32-bit)
	   SDK6sr16fp4-WS-ODME-windows-x86_64 (64-bit)

For v3.8 through v3.8.0.1

	AIX
	   SDK6sr16fp4-WS-DOC-aix-ppc-x64 (64-bit)

	Linux
	   SDK6sr16fp4-WS-DOC-linux-x64 (64-bit)

	Windows
	   SDK6sr16fp4-WS-DOC-windows-x86_32 (32-bit)
	   SDK6sr16fp4-WS-DOC-windows-x86_64 (64-bit)

You must verify that applying this fix does not cause any compatibility
issues.

Further information is available about this vulnerability in Websphere
Application Server and here are the detailed instructions for updating IBM
