Summary

IBM Business Proccess Manager and WebSphere Lombardi Edition are vulnerable to
file path traversal. Due to insufficient input parameter validation files can
be downloaded by authenticated attackers using specially crafted URLs.

CVEID: CVE-2015-1884

DESCRIPTION: IBM Business Process Manager and WebSphere Lombardi Edition 
provide a URL for downloading internationalization files. Due to insufficient
input parameter validation other files can be downloaded by authenticated 
attackers using specially crafted URLs.

The issue does not affect IBM Business Process Manager V8.5.6.0 (any edition).

If you are using an older unsupported version, IBM strongly recommends to 
upgrade.

Remediation/Fixes

Install the interim fix for APAR JR52957 as appropriate for your current IBM 
Business Process Manager or WebSphere Lombardi Edition version.
