IBM recommends that you review your entire environment to identify other areas where you have enabled the RC4 stream cipher and take appropriate mitigation and remediation actions. Workarounds and Mitigations PCA: In addition to applying the fix pack above, you must update the /opt/tealeaf/etc/httpd.conf file by: adding (or changing if already present) a line beginning "SSLProtocol" so that it reads SSLProtocol All -SSLv2 -SSLv3 changing the line beginning SSLCipherSuite by replacing the string RC4+RSA with !RC4 so that it reads: SSLCipherSuite ALL:!ADH:!EXP:!RC4:+HIGH:+MEDIUM You should verify applying this configuration change does not cause any compatibility issues. Not disabling the RC4 stream cipher will expose yourself to the attack described above. IBM recommends that you review your entire environment to identify other areas where you have enabled the RC4 stream cipher and take appropriate mitigation and remediation actions.
