The vulnerability could allow information disclosure when Universal Outlook fails to establish a secure connection. This security update is rated Important for all supported editions of Windows 10. Affected Software Windows 10   Windows 10 updates are cumulative. The monthly security release includes all security fixes for vulnerabilities that affect Windows 10, in addition to non-security updates. The updates are available via the Microsoft Update Catalog. Vulnerability Information Universal Outlook Information Disclosure Vulnerability - CVE-2016-3312 An information disclosure vulnerability exists when Universal Outlook fails to establish a secure connection. An attacker could use this vulnerability to obtain the username and password of a user. The update addresses the vulnerability by preventing Universal Outlook from disclosing usernames and passwords.
