Details: The privilege escalation vulnerability may allow a malicious non-privileged user to execute PostgreSQL commands and escalate privileges to OS admin user. Note that EMC does not recommend nor support the creation of additional non-privileged users on the Avamar server. Resolution: The following EMC Avamar release contains a resolution to this vulnerability \x{149} Avamar Server Version 7.3.0-233 with Hotfix 263301 After applying Hotfix 263301, you must also follow the instructions documented in KB article https://support.emc.com/kb/486276.
