CVE-2015-8665 tif_getimage.c in LibTIFF 4.0.6 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds read) via the SamplesPerPixel tag in a TIFF image. CVE-2014-8130 ** RESERVED ** This candidate has been reserved by an organization or individual that will use it when announcing a new security problem. When the candidate has been publicized, the details for this candidate will be provided. CVE-2014-8130 ** RESERVED ** This candidate has been reserved by an organization or individual that will use it when announcing a new security problem. When the candidate has been publicized, the details for this candidate will be provided. CVE-2014-8127 ** RESERVED ** This candidate has been reserved by an organization or individual that will use it when announcing a new security problem. When the candidate has been publicized, the details for this candidate will be provided. CVE-2014-9655 The (1) putcontig8bitYCbCr21tile function in tif_getimage.c or (2) NeXTDecode function in tif_next.c in LibTIFF allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (uninitialized memory access) via a crafted TIFF image, as demonstrated by libtiff-cvs-1.tif and libtiff-cvs-2.tif. CVE-2015-8781 tif_luv.c in libtiff allows attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds write) via an invalid number of samples per pixel in a LogL compressed TIFF image, a different vulnerability than CVE-2015-8782. CVE-2015-8782 tif_luv.c in libtiff allows attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds writes) via a crafted TIFF image, a different vulnerability than CVE-2015-8781. CVE-2015-8783 tif_luv.c in libtiff allows attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds reads) via a crafted TIFF image. Impact An attacker can use specially-crafted TIFF files to execute arbitrary code with the limited privileges of the image optimization process. Security Issue Status F5 Product Development has assigned ID 608601 (BIG-IP) to this vulnerability. To determine if your release is known to be vulnerable, the components or features that are affected by the vulnerability, and for information about releases or hotfixes that address the vulnerability, refer to the following table: Product Versions known to be vulnerable Versions known to be not vulnerable Severity Vulnerable component or feature BIG-IP LTM None 12.0.0 - 12.1.1 Not vulnerable None 11.4.0 - 11.6.1 11.2.1 10.2.1 - 10.2.4 BIG-IP AAM 12.0.0 - 12.1.1 None Medium LibTIFF 11.4.0 - 11.6.1 BIG-IP AFM None 12.0.0 - 12.1.1 Not vulnerable None 11.4.0 - 11.6.1 BIG-IP Analytics None 12.0.0 - 12.1.1 Not vulnerable None 11.4.0 - 11.6.1 11.2.1 BIG-IP APM None 12.0.0 - 12.1.1 Not vulnerable None 11.4.0 - 11.6.1 11.2.1 10.2.1 - 10.2.4 BIG-IP ASM None 12.0.0 - 12.1.1 Not vulnerable None 11.4.0 - 11.6.1 11.2.1 10.2.1 - 10.2.4 BIG-IP DNS None 12.0.0 - 12.1.1 Not vulnerable None BIG-IP Edge Gateway None 11.2.1 Not vulnerable None 10.2.1 - 10.2.4 BIG-IP GTM None 11.4.0 - 11.6.1 Not vulnerable None 11.2.1 10.2.1 - 10.2.4 BIG-IP Link Controller None 12.0.0 - 12.1.1 Not vulnerable None 11.4.0 - 11.6.1 11.2.1 10.2.1 - 10.2.4 BIG-IP PEM None 12.0.0 - 12.1.1 Not vulnerable None 11.4.0 - 11.6.1 BIG-IP PSM None 11.4.0 - 11.4.1 Not vulnerable None 10.2.1 - 10.2.4 BIG-IP WebAccelerator 11.2.1 10.2.1 - 10.2.4 Medium LibTIFF BIG-IP WebSafe None 12.0.0 - 12.1.1 Not vulnerable None 11.6.0 - 11.6.1 ARX None 6.2.0 - 6.4.0 Not vulnerable None Enterprise Manager None 3.1.1 Not vulnerable None BIG-IQ Cloud None 4.0.0 - 4.5.0 Not vulnerable None BIG-IQ Device None 4.2.0 - 4.5.0 Not vulnerable None BIG-IQ Security None 4.0.0 - 4.5.0 Not vulnerable None BIG-IQ ADC None 4.5.0 Not vulnerable None BIG-IQ Centralized Management None 5.0.0 - 5.1.0 Not vulnerable None 4.6.0 BIG-IQ Cloud and Orchestration None 1.0.0 Not vulnerable None F5 iWorkflow None 2.0.0 - 2.0.1 Not vulnerable None LineRate None 2.5.0 - 2.6.1 Not vulnerable None Traffix SDC None 5.0.0 - 5.1.0 Not vulnerable None 4.0.0 - 4.4.0 Vulnerability Recommended Actions If you are running a version listed in the Versions known to be vulnerable column, you can eliminate this vulnerability by upgrading to a version listed in the Versions known to be not vulnerable column. If the table lists only an older version than what you are currently running, or does not list a non-vulnerable version, then no upgrade candidate currently exists.
