2003 AusCERT Member Survey Promotion - Terms and Conditions

  1. Information on how to enter the competition forms part of the terms and conditions of entry.

  2. The promoter is The University of Queensland trading as AusCERT, the Australian Computer Emergency Response Team.

  3. Employees of AusCERT member organisations are eligible to enter. Employees and their immediate families of AusCERT and The University of Queensland are ineligible. To enter, employees of AusCERT member organisations must complete the online 2003 AusCERT Member Survey, ensuring they include their name, contact phone number and email address and at least 14 additional survey questions. Only one entry per person will be accepted.

  4. The Promotion commences 28/10/2003. Entries close midnight 30/11/2003. Winners will be notified by email prior to the 05/12/2003. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

  5. Invalid entries will not be included in the prize draw. Prize winners will be determined at random.

  6. The first eligible survey entry drawn shall receive a copy of "Network Intrusion Detection" By Stephen Northcutt and Judy Novak (ISBN: 0735712654) which has a recommended retail price of of AU$95.95.

  7. The second eligible survey entry drawn shall receive a copy of "Enterprise Security: The Manager's Defense Guide" By David Clark (ISBN: 020171972X) which has a recommended retail price of AU$84.95.

  8. The next 20 eligible survey entries drawn shall receive an AusCERT coffee mug valued at AU$10.

  9. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.

  10. If any winner does not claim their prize or cannot be contacted by 4:00pm 05/12/2003, the promoter will redraw the prize until a winner has been contacted and the prize is claimed.

  11. Competition winners names shall be published on the AusCERT website.
