Privacy and Security in Windows 10

While many have been looking forward to the arrival of Windows 10 and the first version of Windows to include a package manager, concerns from the global information security community have arisen around some 'bad behaviour' linked to the new software, including:

  • Credential capture and sharing
  • Key logging
  • Browsing data logging and ex-filtration
  • Unauthorised sharing of bandwidth.

So that you can enjoy the benefits of Windows 10 safely in your work environment and at home, it's important to be fully aware of all these issues and mitigate them.

Be aware if you're using Windows 10 in your home environment and connecting to your organisation's resources to do work, as company data may potentially be leaked via these devices.
