OVERVIEW

Multiple security vulnerabilities have been reported in cacti 0.8.7e
and prior, each of which have been corrected in version 0.8.7f. [1]

IMPACT

Three cross-site scripting vulnerabilities caused by input
validation errors when processing "hostname", "host_id" and
"description" parameters were identified and corrected. [2]

Two SQL injection issues, one of which is caused by incorrect
variable filtering, have also been fixed. [3]

MITIGATION

It is recommended to upgrade to cacti version 0.8.7f, which is
available for download from the vendor's website. [4]
