OVERVIEW

        A vulnerability has been identified in PHP which affects Tenable's 
        SecurityCenter versions 4.6.2.2, 4.7.0, 4.7.1, 4.8.0 and 4.8.1. [1]


IMPACT

        The vendor has provided the following details regarding the 
        vulnerability:
        
        CVE-2014-3669: "PHP contains an integer overflow condition in the 
        object_custom() function in ext/standard/var_unserializer.re that is
        triggered when serializing user-supplied input. With specially 
        crafted input, a remote attacker can cause a crash." [1]


MITIGATION

        The vendor advises a patch is being developed to upgrade the version
        of PHP included in SecurityCenter 4.8.2, which is scheduled for 
        release in late November to early December 2014. [1]
