OVERVIEW

        A vulnerability in Tenable Appliance has been identified in prior to
        version 4.3.1. [1]


IMPACT

        The vendor has provided the following information:
        
        "Tenable Appliance has been found to contain a vulnerability in the
        web interface. With a crafted request using a traversal sequence, an
        authenticated attacker can abuse a resource to enumerate or delete 
        arbitrary files on the underlying operating system." [1]


MITIGATION

        The vendor recommends updating to the latest version. [1]
