The CIAC, the Computer Incident Advisory Capability, has released the
following bulletin concerning a vulnerability in Aserver on HP9000 Series
7/800 running HP-UX releases 10.X and 11.X.

This vulnerability may be exploited to gain root access.

This vulnerability is different to the one previously described in AusCERT
ESB-97.001.

PROBLEM:       A vulnerability has been identified in Aserver. 
PLATFORM:      HP9000 Series 7/800 running HP-UX releases 10.X and 11.X. 
DAMAGE:        An exploit to gain Root access has been made publicly 
               available. 
SOLUTION:      Implement procedure specified within HP bulletin.
