Red Hat, Inc. has released the following advisory concerning a
vulnerability in majordomo shipped with Red Hat Powertools 6.1 on all
architectures.  This vulnerability may allow local users to gain
privileged access.

This is the same vulnerability as described in the AusCERT Advisory
AA-2000.01 - Majordomo open() call Vulnerability.

A vulnerability in /usr/lib/majordomo/resend will allow execution of arbitrary commands with elevated privileges.

It is recommended that all users of Red Hat Linux using the majordomo package upgrade to the fixed package.

rpm -Fvh [filename]

where filename is the name of the RPM.
