This issue is particularly applicable to ColdFusion servers in a shared hosting environment. This issue is not remotely exploitable. Affected software versions ColdFusion 8, ColdFusion 8.0.1 and ColdFusion MX 7.0.2 Solution Solution Adobe recommends affected ColdFusion customers update their installation using the instructions below: ColdFusion 8.0.1 1. Stop all ColdFusion services. 2. Download and unzip the hot fix. (51K) 3. Open the ColdFusion Administrator and select the System Information page. Next to the Update File field, either: a. Type in the file path and click Submit. OR b. Click the Browse button, browse to the downloaded file, select the file and then Apply. 4. Restart ColdFusion. The ColdFusion hot fix JAR file does not need to be retained after installing it with the ColdFusion Administrator. The file has been copied into the correct location.
