Abstract

IBM PureApplication System is affected by a security vulnerability in
the Caching shared service which might allow unauthenticated access to
administrative operations and data.

AFFECTED PRODUCTS AND VERSIONS:

    IBM PureApplication System 1.0 and later
    IBM PureApplication System 1.1 and later

This problem affects only those IBM PureApplication System cloud groups
into which the Caching shared service is deployed.

REMEDIATION:
You must upgrade your IBM PureApplication System to version 1.1.0.4 before
applying the following fixes from Fix Central.

After upgrading to version 1.1.0.4, use the following link to access the
IBM PureApplication System fixes in Fix Central::

Locate the following two fixes that need to be downloaded and installed,
following the instructions included as part of the download, to upgrade
the system:

1) The Foundation Pattern Type must be upgraded to version 2.0.1.4. Apply
the fix pack foundation-2.0.1.4

2) After upgrading to Foundation Pattern Type V2.0.1.4, apply the
caching-2014-vaea interim fix.
