DESCRIPTION:

IBM GSKit could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information,
caused by a MD5 collision. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to
obtain authentication credentials.

Remediation/Fixes

The following GSKit levels will support the CVE-2016-0201 for the MD5
collision vulnerability as well as all previously reported vulnerabilities.

Minimum level of GSKit for Communications Server for AIX V6.4, Communications
Server for Windows V6.4, Communications Server for Linux V6.4, Communications
Server for Linux on System z V6.4 and Communications Server for Data Center
Deployment V7 is:

GSKit 8.0-50.57

The recommended solution is to apply the Fix Pack or PTF for each named
product as soon as practical. Visit Fix Central to find these APARs (under 
Other Software brand).
