Vulnerability Description

Passing out-of-range data to the strftime() function will access invalid 
memory and cause the calling application to crash. (CVE-2015-8776 - reserved)

Impact

An application or daemon that passes out-of-range time values to the 
strftime() function may crash and lead to a denial-of-service (DoS) on the 
application or daemon.

Security Issue Status

F5 Product Development has assigned ID 579592 (BIG-IP), ID 579744 (BIG-IQ), ID
579747 (Enterprise Manager), ID 476571 (ARX), and CPF-19112 (Traffix SDC) to 
this vulnerability, and has evaluated the currently supported releases for 
potential vulnerability.
