Vulnerability Description

ISC DHCP 4.x before 4.1-ESV-R12-P1 and 4.2.x and 4.3.x before 4.3.3-P1 allows
remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) via an 
invalid length field in a UDP IPv4 packet. (CVE-2015-8605)

Impact

A remote attacker may be able to cause a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol 
(DHCP) server, client, or relay program to terminate abnormally by using a 
User Datagram Protocol (UDP) IPv4P packet with an invalid length field.

Security Issue Status

F5 Product Development has assigned ID 584366 (BIG-IP), ID 584385 (BIG-IQ), ID
584387 (Enterprise Manager), and LRS-60545 (LineRate) to this vulnerability, 
and has evaluated the currently supported releases for potential 
vulnerability.
