IBM Client Application Access uses InstallShield which generates install
executables that are vulnerable to a DLL-planting vulnerability.

DESCRIPTION:

Flexera InstallShield could allow a local attacker to gain elevated
privileges on the system, caused by an untrusted search path. An attacker
could exploit this vulnerability using a Trojan horse DLL in the current
working directory of a setup-launcher executable file to gain elevated
privileges on the system.

Workarounds and Mitigations

Before the install begins, copy the two library files mapistub.dll and 
mapi32.dll from the system directory to the installer's directory. This will 
ensure the library files will be loaded correctly.
