Security Advisory

Original Publication Date: 10/18/2016

Vulnerability Description

The sapi_header_op function in main/SAPI.c in PHP before 5.4.38, 5.5.x
before 5.5.22, and 5.6.x before 5.6.6 supports deprecated line folding
without considering browser compatibility, which allows remote attackers

by leveraging (1) %0A%20 or (2) %0D%0A%20 mishandling in the header
function. (CVE-2015-8935)

Impact

This vulnerability may allow remote attackers to conduct cross-site scripting
(XSS) attacks by leveraging (1) %0A%20 or (2) %0D%0A%20 mishandling in
the header function.

in the Versions known to be not vulnerable column. If the table lists only
an older version than what you are currently running, or does not list a
non-vulnerable version, then no upgrade candidate currently exists.

To determine the necessary upgrade path for your BIG-IQ system, you should
understand the BIG-IQ product offering name changes. For more information,
refer to SOL21232150: Considerations for upgrading BIG-IQ or F5 iWorkflow
systems.
