IBM Content Navigator uses a common key stored in the application's source
code to encrypt and decrypt some user credentials.

Vulnerability Details

CVEID:  CVE-2018-1979
DESCRIPTION: IBM Content Navigator could allow a local attacker to obtain the
common key used for encrypting/decrypting certain user names and passwords.
The attacker could decompile the Java .class file on the application server
that contains the common encrypting key, then use that key to decrypt user
names and passwords in other Content Navigator installations.
