The vulnerability exists because the software fails to sanitize URLs before it handles requests. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by submitting a crafted URL. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to gain unauthorized access to sensitive information. Cisco has released software updates that address this vulnerability. There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability.
